Mrs. Smith was born November 1, 1962 in Llano, Texas to Troy and Dorothy Weldon. She was raised in and around the Llano and San Antonio areas and was educated in the Llano school systems. Her family moved to Sonora, Texas where she met William in 1986. They fell in love and married on July 23, 1987 in Monohans, Texas and enjoyed their children and family for 28 years together. Genevia never met a stranger or a person she could not talk to. She enjoyed taking care of people and animals. Her favorite thing was when she was an EMT with the North Bosque Volunteer EMS. Whether it was in the day or the middle of the night, Genevia showed her genuine care and concern for all of her patients, making sure they were getting the best medical attention possible. One of Genevia's greatest pleasures was going camping and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends. She cherished them all to no end, and this included her little pets.
