Adina Moss Lamb, age 79, of Glen Rose and a former long time resident of Walnut Springs, passed away on Wednesday, Christmas day, December, 25, 2013, in Glen Rose.

A memorial service was held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 4, 2014, in the Walnut Springs Memorial Methodist Church with Adam Hilliard officiating. Her ashes will be buried in the future with the ashes of her husband of 62 years.

Adina was born April 30,1934, at Paluxy, Somervell County, Texas. She was raised in Walnut Springs. On June 30, 1951, she was united in marriage to Jerry Lamb in Walnut Springs. The couple traveled the world with her husband's Army career of 22 years. The couple lived in Walnut Springs from 1971 until moving to Glen Rose in 2006. Adina was a homemaker most of her married life until taking a job with the Walnut Springs School for 17 years. She was a member of the Walnut Springs Memorial Methodist Church, and will be remembered for her strong Christian faith and her loving and forgiving heart.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry, of Glen Rose; children, Larry Lamb of Glen Rose, Kerry and Shanna Lamb of Port Neches, Randy and Jennifer Lamb of Walnut Springs, Jerry Don and his husband, Daniel Lamb, of San Antonio, Kelly and Melanie Bybee of Glen Rose and David and Kimberly Reynolds of Glen Rose; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Billie Duckworth of Seminole, Texas ; number of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Moss; a son, Garry "Boo" Lamb; brothers, Wilbourne and U. L. Moss and sisters, Louise Cockerell and Geraldine Cort.
