Amelia Don Burns age 77 of Morgan, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017 in Kerens, Texas.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the Morgan Cemetery with Rev. Richard Creech officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Lawson Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Shawn Hart, Kolby Moore, Brian Moore, Tony Lozano, Armando Lozano, Bryant Clark, and Zach Duncan.

Amelia Don Laumen was born on June 15, 1939 in Palestine, Texas to Louis Donell and Minnie Pauline Crum Laumen. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse for most of her working career. Amelia was of the Baptist faith.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, William Saunders of Morgan, Derrell Saunders and wife, Paula, of Kerens, Jimmy Ashworth of Morgan, Jerry Ashworth and wife, Cynthia, of Morgan; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Gregg Laumen and wife, Lois, of Pilot Point, Jo Smith of Wichita Falls, Linda Jones of Big Springs, Barbara Phillips of Big Springs; numerous other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Walter Burns in 2010; and son, Jack Ashworth in 2007.
