Angela Gail Fredrickson was born on November 4, 1957 in Fort Worth, Texas to Carl and Barbara Ann Tanner Fredrickson. She grew up traveling the United States as a “military brat.” Angela also known as Angie or Ang went to school at Castleberry High School in Ft Worth, TX. She attended nursing school in Boulder, CO where she first obtained her LVN license and later pursued her RN license. She loved nursing and helping people. She had a particular gift and compassion for her geriatric patients. Angela was a mother of two and Grammy of six. Her compassion did not end with people as she was also a “doggie mommy” to numerous. Angela was a free-spirit and had many interests and passions. She loved nature and hiking, you could often find her on a trail in a tie dye t-shirt and bandana. She spent much of her adult life in Colorado and enjoyed the Rocky Mountain National Park as often as she could. She loved music and loved to sing. She really enjoyed listening to live music preferably outdoors. Football was also a big part of her life, there were many Sunday afternoons that were spent preparing snacks and rooting for her favorite team, the Denver Broncos. Motorcycle Grammy was not her official nickname but would have been very fitting as she loved to ride. Anytime she could she would be on the road with her Harley Trike being sure to post pictures of her latest excursion. In 2015, Angela moved to Ohio marrying the love of her life, John. Later the two returned to her Texas roots, in Walnut Springs, TX. They enjoyed taking walks through the pasture and sitting on the porch watching the Hill Country sunsets together. Angela was a loving, caring person who just wanted to have fun and enjoy life. Her signature picture pose of flashing a peace sign anytime a picture that was taken, was also accompanied by sporting her very distinct dimples and contagious smile. Angela will be dearly missed by family and friends.
