Barbara Ann Dittrich age 79, of Clifton, passed away unexpectedly on May 22, 2020 at her residence in Clifton. Barbara was born the first child to Joe and Leaha Hatley December 8, 1940 in Brownfield Texas. She passed into her final and eternal destination after a long struggle against the effects of radiation treatments that conquered cancer but left her debilitating health problems for the next 25 years.
Barbara had a great work career. She was the regional purchasing manager for the Amerada Hess Corp., Western Production Region, Seminole, Texas. She loved her job and always went "by the book" much to the delight of upper management and to the chagrin of the engineering and production staff.
Barbara is survived by her husband Ovie Dittrich of Clifton. One daughter, Mika Ryan and husband Tom, Vancouver BC Canada, Two Sons, David Anderson and wife Kendra, Jody Anderson and wife Manda of Seminole, Texas, Two Sisters, Linda Mapp of Bedford, Texas, Sandra Harris and husband Butch of Mansfield, Texas, Four brothers, Donald Hatley and wife Jackye of Meridian, Texas, Jerry Hatley and wife Dawn, of Ruidoso, New Mexico, Steve Hatley and wife Peggy of Colorado, Randy Hatley and wife Linda of San Antonio, Texas, Seven Grandchildren,Tyler Ryan, Ryan Anderson, Kaleb Anderson, Kelby Anderson, Bree Anderson, Mattie Anderson, and Aidan Anderson. Barbara is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, double first cousins and cousins.

Memorial services will be 10 A.M., Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian. Rev. Randy Hatley will officiate. Burial will be held at 12:30 P.M., at the Boggy Cemetery near Clifton.
