Bill O. Cromeans, born on February 17, 1947, in Lampasas, Texas, passed away suddenly on December 13, 2025, at a nursing facility in Keene, Texas. He lived a life characterized by resilience, dedication, and a strong sense of family and community.

Bill was a proud graduate of Morgan High School and pursued his ambitions at Hill College with the intent of becoming a Doctor. However, life took him in a different direction, leading him to study engineering at Tarleton State University. His career spanned many years, during which he worked diligently for Brown and Root before relocating to Richmond, Texas, to continue his work in the engineering field with A&S Engineers.

He was known for his stern yet caring demeanor, embodying a personality that was full of advice and generosity. Bill had a huge heart and was always ready to help others. He had a passion for fishing and gardening, and he loved to share his wisdom on living life fully with everyone he encountered.

Bill is survived by his son, Jason Cromeans and his wife, Angela; his daughter, Kristi Meehan and her husband, James; and his cherished grandchildren, Karli Cromeans and her fiancé, Paydon Fenn, Jaxson Cromeans, and Mia Meehan. He is also remembered by his brother, Ernest Cromeans and his wife, Patty, special niece and great-niece, Mindie Wilson and Jayla Wilson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends who were touched by his kind spirit and unwavering support.

He is preceded in death by his parents; O.A. Cromeans and Janey Hembey, siblings; Orval, Earl, W.J., Richard, Roy, Rickey, Nancy, and Willa Lou. Bill's legacy of love, wisdom, and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on December 19, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Lawson Funeral Home located at 803 N Main St, Meridian, Texas. Following this, a graveside service will take place at Morgan Cemetery at 1:30 PM. Bill Cromeans may have departed from this world, but his spirit will forever remain in the lives he impacted.
