Billie Wells

Billie M. Wells age 86, of Glen Rose, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at her residence in Glen Rose.

Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the Glen Rose Cemetery in Glen Rose, Texas. Chaplain Rana Benitez will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Lawson Memorial Chapel in Walnut Springs. Pallbearers will be Ryan Stephens, Cary Taylor, B.J. Duffie, Tommy Couch, and Rene Benitez.

Billie M. Taylor was born on October 15, 1930 in Glen Rose, Texas to Lee Roy and Ruby Lee West Taylor. She was raised and educated in Glen Rose. Billie married Jesse "Buster" Wells on December 20, 1960 in Fort Worth, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 26, 2006. She moved to Cleburne where she worked in a nursing home and later moved to Fort Worth working in a bank. She returned to Glen Rose in 1987.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Brenda Lanette Glenn of Glen Rose, Jimmy Lynn Willey of DeLeon; sister, Wanda Mears of Glen Rose; brother, Cary Taylor of Granbury; 1 grandchild, Justin Willey; numerous other relatives and friends.
