Carol Jackson

Carol Jackson, age 76, of Ennis and a former long time resident of Walnut Springs, Texas, passed away early Monday morning, April 27,2015, in an Ennis nursing facility.

The family will have a private graveside at 2;00 P.M., Saturday, Ma6 16, 2015, in the Fulton Cemetery near Walnut Springs.

Carol was born September 20, 1938, in Uvalde, Texas. She was one of 14 children born to Price and Edna Harris Love. She was raised in Uvalde and Castroville, Texas. On May 1, 1965, she was married to Tommy Jackson in Burleson, Texas. The couple moved to Walnut Springs a short time later where Tommy was a ranch manager until his death on Sept. 26, 2007. Carol was a member of the Walnut Springs Memorial Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Talana Garrett of Dallas; grandchildren, Lariat and Chance Garrett and Cody Jackson; a very special niece, Joyce Falconnier of San Antonio; a sister, Fran Potts of Fort Sumner, New Mexico; number of other relatives and friends.
