Cynthia Kay Wallace, age 73, of Meridian, passed away early Saturday morning, December 26, 2015, in the Goodall-Witcher Nursing Facility.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 29, 2015, in the Fundamental Baptist Church, 403 W. Pecan, Clifton, Texas. Rev. George Watson will officiate. Burial was in the Lanes Chapel Cemetery near Valley Mills.
Serving as pallbearers were Ross Watson, Greg Fink, Randy Rhodes, Irv Hodges, Gordon Odom, Owen Wallace and Jonathon Wallace.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 P.M., Monday, December 28, 2015, in the Meridian First Baptist Church, 207 N. Hill Street.
Cynthia was born October 10, 1942, in Ralls, Texas. She was a daughter of the late John Wesley Odom and Evie Darl Swim Odom. On December 22, 1961, she was united in marriage to Charles D. Wallace in Ralls, Texas. She had resided in Ralls, Crosbyton, Benbrook, Denton and Valley View until moving to Meridian in 1998. Cynthia was a homemaker and a member of the Fundamental Baptist Church in Clifton.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Dwayne Wallace of Meridian; sons, Kenny Wallace and wife, Becky, of Dallas and Denny Wallace and wife, Tanya of Gainesville; grandchildren, Korey and Bailey Wallace; sister, Cleta Mae Bishop of Oklahoma; brother, Kenneth E. Odom of Lubbock; numerous other relatives and friends.
