David Lee Holladay
September 16, 1966 — May 19, 2024
Clifton
David has always been known as a very giving and loyal man. He loved his people and never met a stranger. To know him was to love him. He loved his family unconditionally with all he had. If you were ever around David he spoke life into you and there was never a time that you couldn't feel the love from him.
When David became a grandfather, was the day he would say his whole life began. He loved his grandbabies and was so excited to have more on the way.
Memorial visitation will be held 30 minutes prior and service will be held at 2:30 P.M., Friday, May 24, 2024 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel in Meridian, Texas. Bro. Richard Creech will officiate.
David was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Clyde and Lucille (Sis) Holladay; maternal grandparents; Tommy and Arnelle Rhodes.
Left to cherish his memories are his parents; Rick Holladay and wife Linda from Clifton, Texas; Connie Aday and husband Roger from Kaufman, Texas; daughters, Brandi Anderson and husband Ben from Hodgenville, Kentucky; April Gomez and spouse Cristina from Kaufman, Texas; son, Tommy Holladay and wife Ashley from Kaufman, Texas; Grandchildren; Julie Fowler-Pete, Kyle Craig and Emilee Batcher from Hodgenville, Kentucky; Lexi Allen, Savannah Allen, Kayla Allen, Miley Allen and Brooklyn Allen from Kaufman, Texas; Bryson Holladay, Evyn Chandler, Cash Chandler, Kendall Holladay and Weston Holladay from Kaufman, Texas; Great-Grandchildren; Malia Ramos and 2 future greats that he was excited for; siblings; Daniel Holladay and wife Teresa from Garland, Texas; Stepsister Kris Miller and husband Tommy and sons Austin and Evan; Niece and Nephew; Brittany Jobe and husband Travis and daughter Annabelle from Wolfe City, Texas; Kenneth Holladay from Garland, Texas; and numerous extended family members, and a host of friends.
