Donna Edwards

Donna Marie Edwards, age 49, of Hico, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at Scott and White Hospital in Temple.

A private burial was held Wednesday morning, March 9, 2016, in the Country Oaks Cemetery in Hico.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 10, 2016, in the Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Creech officiating.

Donna was born Louisville, Kentucky, on September 18, 1966. She moved to the Hico area at a young age where she was raised. Donna lived in various parts of Texas before moving back to Hico. She was an artist who loved to paint.
Her granddaughter, Madison Marie Burt, was the light of her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Marie Ward of Meridian; granddaughter, Madison Marie Burt of Meridian; mother, Wanda Lee Wilkins of;sisters, Tracy Otero of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Robin Wilkins of Ft. Worth ; brothers, Gilbert Martin of Auburn, Indiana and Michael Wilkins of Ft. Worth; number of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her fathers, Gilbert Leroy Martin, IV, and Charles Wilkins; sister, Kelly Bell.
