Whitney, Texas

Fairy Alliene Arnold, born Fairy Alliene Clark, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2026, in West, Texas, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 30, 1938, in Rio Vista, Texas, and lived a life grounded in faith, love, family, and devotion to those she held dear.

Fairy was a sweet and kind Christian woman whose gentle spirit and caring nature touched the lives of all who knew her. Her faith was an important and steadfast part of her life, and she was an active member of Jonesboro Baptist Church, where she faithfully served and worshiped. Fairy loved her family and friends deeply and found great joy in the relationships she built throughout her life.

She married the love of her life, Gene Arnold, and together they shared 67 years of marriage before his passing. Their life together was built on love, commitment, companionship, and the many memories they created as a family. Fairy cherished the life they shared and the family they built together.

Fairy’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her daughters, Debra Arnold and Janice Edwards and her husband, Robert. She was a loving grandmother to Sharon Tranthem, Wesley Ellington, Valerie Campbell, Stephanie Smart, Melissa Strahan, Jennifer Bonds, William Bonds, Brandon Edwards, and Shane Johnson.

Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Bryce Tranthem, Blake Tranthem, Kian Sewell, Jacob Bingham, Kaci Jones, Madison Brooks, Caden Whitlock, Jae Whitlock, Julianna Munoz, Cooper Bonds, Cason Bonds, Cody Bonds, and Kynlee Bonds. She was also blessed with great-great-grandchildren, Kyleigh Palmer, Conner Jones, Courtlynn Jones, Charleigh Jones, Layla Bingham, Jameson Bingham, Cyzer Whitlock, Veda Beck, Breken Brooks, and Ripken Barnes. She is also survived by her sister, Clarette Maricle.

Fairy’s love for her family was evident in all that she did. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, kindness, love, and devotion that will continue through the generations. The lessons she lived, the love she gave, and the memories she created will remain treasured in the hearts of her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene Arnold; her parents, Mary Joe Clark and Jesse Clark; her daughter, Donna Johnson; and her sister, Marie Tucker.

Fairy Alliene Arnold will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life was a beautiful testimony of steadfast faith, unconditional love for her family, and quiet kindness. Though she is no longer with those she loved, the legacy she leaves behind will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and all whose lives she touched. Her memory will forever remain a blessing to those who knew and loved her.
