Freda Forster Morrison, age 72, of Arlington, Texas, a native of Walnut Springs, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 in an Arlington hospital.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 2:00 P.M., at the Lawson Memorial Chapel in Walnut Springs. A visitation for family and friends was from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M., Friday, May 15, 2015 also at the Lawson Memorial Chapel in Walnut Springs. Interment was at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Walnut Springs.
Serving as pallbearers were Keith Morrison, Jud Morrison, Jimmy Stanford, Robert Morrison, Jim Owens and Rafael Salinas.
Freda was born July 16, 1942, in Meridian. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence Forster and Helen Hardwick Forster. Freda graduated from Walnut Springs High School. She married Harold "Buzzy" Morrison on May 20, 1961, in Walnut Springs. She had resided in Arlington for some 50 years where she worked as a secretary in law enforcement. Freda was a member of the Methodist Church.
Mrs. Morrison is survived by her husband, Harold "Buzzy" Morrison of Arlington, Texas; daughter, Michelle Walts and husband, Chas of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Wren Olivia Walts, and Griffin Konrad Walts. A number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
