Freddy Lee Law

Freddy Lee Law, a cherished husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, at his home in Kopperl, Texas. Born on November 8, 1942, in Woodbury, Texas, Freddy lived a life marked by adventure, passion, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

Freddy answered the call of duty by joining the Air Force in 1960, where he served honorably before returning to civilian life to pursue a diverse array of interests and hobbies. A true jack of all trades, he found joy in many pursuits throughout his life. Freddy had a deep love of horses, a devotion that complemented his involvement in ranching and rodeo activities. His enthusiasm for team roping and dirt track car racing brought him closer to his friends and gave him countless moments of camaraderie and competition. When not engaged in these spirited endeavors, Freddy was often found on the golf course, his love of the game evident to all who played alongside him.

Among Freddy’s fondest memories was taking dirt roads less traveled and visiting the beach.

Freddy is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Lisa Law; his children, Kelly Law, Keith Law, and Jessica Zumstein and her husband Will; along with a sister, Martha Brooks, and her husband Ed. His spirit lives on through many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many cousins. Freddy is also remembered with those who preceded him in death: his mother, Sarah Perkins Law; father, Fred Law; son, Kyle Law; and brother, Sammy Law.

Freddy’s life was one of vibrant energy. He will be deeply missed by many.
