James Ray Walker

James Ray Walker age 87, of Kopperl, passed away in Waco, Texas on October 8, 2022.

No services are set at this time. Per his wishes he will be cremated.

James Ray Walker was born on September 5, 1935 in Fort Worth, Texas to Henry B. and Ida Irene Daves. He attended school in Fort Worth. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy. While in the Navy he got married to the love of his life. After being honorably discharged he went to work for Farmers Brother Coffee Company and was a faithful employee for 30 plus years before retiring. After retiring he moved to Bosque County and began working at Kopperl ISD in the Janitorial Department. During his free time he enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his daughter, Dena Griffin; son, Donny Walker; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
