Jean Kibler

Maxine Jean (Coopwood) Kibler, 99, passed away on April 23, 2026, in North Richland Hills, Texas.

Jean was born on December 21, 1926, in Memphis, Tennessee. She married Wayne Kibler on March 19, 1954, in Texarkana, Texas, and together they built a life centered on family.

She is survived by her son, Keith Kibler of North Richland Hills, Texas; her daughter-in-law, Debbie Scott of Gorman, Texas; her brother, Robert Coopwood and his wife Janie of San Antonio, Texas; and her grandchildren: Brook Bell and her fiancé Brian Sciutto of Colleyville, Texas; Ryan Kibler and his wife Destinee of Odessa, Texas; and Cristie King and her husband Ryan of Fort Worth, Texas. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Kibler; her infant son, Robert Gregory Kibler; her son, Billy Wayne Kibler; her daughter, Janet Kibler; her parents, William Walker Coopwood and Alva Coopwood; and six brothers and two sisters.

Jean will be remembered for her deep love for her family and the legacy she leaves through each of them.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, May 1, 2026 at the Faulkenberry Cemetery in Groesbeck, Texas.
