John Cunningham

April 24, 1960 — October 10, 2016

John Robert "Bobby" Cunningham, age 56, of Meridian, passed away suddenly on October 10, 2016 in Clifton, Texas.

Memorial services will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, October 17, 2016 at the Bosque County Cowboy Church on SH# 6 between Meridian and Clifton. Pastor Tater Paschal will officiate.

John Robert Cunningham was born on April 24, 1960 in Angleton, Texas to Marvin Elton and Toy Strawn Cunningham. He graduated from Angleton High School. After graduation he attended a junior college in Angleton. Bobby made Meridian his home 25 years ago. He married Frankie Lynn Jones on April 26, 2008 at the Loafers Bend West Park in Whitney, Texas. Bobby worked for Double B in Meridian as a Forklift Operator. He was a devoted member of the Bosque County Cowboy Church.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Frankie Cunningham of Meridian; step-children, Evelynn Devore of Whitney, Nicole Zimny of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Ashlyn and Joshua Devore both of Whiney; siblings, Carol Kisby, Pat Maldonado, Barbara McCabe, Larry Alton Cunningham, Marvin Cunningham, Vicky Carter, Michael Cunningham, Daryll Cunningham; several other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Elton and Toy Strawn Cunningham; and a sister, Kathy Tepe.
