John Espinoza

John Espinoza, age 86 of Walnut Springs, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in Clifton, Texas.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, October 24, 2016 at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until service time at Lawson Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Trotter will officiate. Burial will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Walnut Springs. Pallbearers will be Bobby Valdez, Wayson Conner, Eric Austin, Scott Simmons, Allen Cardona, and Johnny Felan.

John Espinoza was born on April 7, 1930 in Deleon, Texas to John Ysidora and Josephine Hernandez Espinoza. He married Frances Felan on August 20, 1962 in Glen Rose, Texas and she preceded him in death in March of 2008. John was of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by his children, Teresa Gutierrez and David Conner of Walnut Springs, Rosa Bronstad of Glen Rose, Elojia Anderson and husband, Billy, of Glen Rose, Raymon Espinoza and wife, Lisa, of Santa Fe, Texas, Mary Steuben and Lewis Smith, of Glen Rose, Catherine Shepard and Richard Schurr of Walnut Springs, Rex George Espinoza of Glen Rose, Carol Espinoza of Las Vegas, Nevada; number grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Ysidora and Josephine Hernandez Espinoza; brother, Frank Espinoza; and sisters, Angelina Valdez, Victoria, and Lola Garza.
