Juan Zapata was born on November 27, 1943 in a small town called Piedras Negras, Mexico. He met Rosa Castillo in McGregor, Texas which later in life became his special soulmate of fifty one years. Juan was never a man that had accomplished medals, honors, badges or certificates of any kind but he sure was a man that everyone knew. All the community knew that he answered to "PaPa" and if you asked him for anything he would surely hand it to you with no questions asked. PaPa was known to be one of the best cook's from all around the surrounding communities. On November 24, 2020 PaPa got his angel wings. It is our loss that we have lost such a precious gem.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Rosa Zapata; daughters, Maria Bailey, Dolores Munoz, Maryhellen Murray, Liliana Garza, Rosie Zapata and Amanda White; sons-in-law, Andy, Pedro, Paul, Gerald, and Freddie; grandchildren, Andrew, Aiden, Sara, Alberto, Daniela, Norberto, Charlie, Violeta, Jasmin, Maya, Trae, Jaclynn, Rey, Victor, Jesus, Aiden Roberts, Trent and Eli; great-grandchildren, Ivan, Sofia, Gracie, and Izmael; numerous other relatives and many friends.
Although this beautiful man touched many lives, he will truly be missed but certainly not forgotten.
