Karen Harrison

Karen Sue Ratliff Harrison age 64 of Cleburne and formerly of Meridian, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Funeral services are going to be 3:00 P.M., Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian with Rev. Jim Myers officiating. Burial will be at the Morgan Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian.

Karen Sue Ratliff was born on February 8, 1953 in Meridian, Texas to Kenneth and Fannie B. Jones Ratliff. Karen worked for 28 years at Ben E. Keith. A bigger heart, a more brilliant light we may never find but a joyous presence remains with all whom knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Fannie B. Ratliff; husband, Larry Harrison; son, Christopher; and siblings, Randle Ratliff, Justice Ratliff, and Gwendolyn Ratliff Marino.

She is survived by her son, Nicholas Harrison; siblings, Donna Robinson, James Ratliff and Kenneth Ratliff; any many extended family members. Her loss is also felt by all the friends and children she loved and cared for throughout her life whom her light warmed and nourished.
