She is survived by her children: William Wayne Chernitski of Denver, Colorado, Karyl Kay Drewitt of Colorado; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters: Patricia LaBlane, Rebecca Roark, Barbara Coburn, Sarah Jenkins; and a brother: Stephen Tierney.
