Larry Harrison

Larry V. Harrison, 72, passed away at his home in Cleburne, Texas on November 2, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M., Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian, Texas with Rev. James Myers officiating. Interment will be in the Morgan Cemetery, Morgan, Texas. A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M., Friday, November 4th, at Lawson Funeral Home. Acting as pallbearers will be Les Ratliff, Michael Ratliff, James Ratliff, Charlie Farr, Darrell Ratliff, J. D. Dunn, Stephen Dunn, and Billy Bankston.

Larry was born to parents Clarence and Ruby Olson Harrison in Waco, Texas on October 19, 1944. He was raised in Clifton, Texas where he attended Clifton Schools. In 1971 Karen Ratliff and Larry were united in marriage in Meridian, Texas. Larry loved to fish, play checkers and chess, photography, play his guitar, and being with his much loved family. After 40 years of dedicated work, Larry retired from Johns Manville Manufacturing Corporation in 2006. Karen and Larry have made their home in Cleburne for the past 25 years.

Those preceding Larry in death were his parents, Clarence and Ruby Olson Harrison, and son, Christopher Harrison.

Mr. Harrison is survived by his beautiful, loving, adoring wife of 45 years, Karen Harrison, of Cleburne; loving son, Nicholas Harrison, of Cleburne; brother, John Henry Harrison, of Pennsylvania; brothers-in-law, James Ratliff, of Bryson and Kenneth Ratliff and wife, Joy, of Blum; and sister-in-law, Donna Robinson and husband, Tommy, of Rio Vista; also a number of other loving family members and many friends.
