Louis Gonzales

On Thursday January 21, 2021 Louis Gonzales, loving husband, father of 4 and grandfather of 8 passed away at age 87. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Monday, February 1, 2021 at Lawson Funeral Home at 803 N. Main Street, Meridian, TX 76665. Visitation will be held from 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Lawson Funeral Home.

Louis was born on December 13, 1933. In April 1952 he married the love of his life Patricia Felan Gonzales. They raised 4 sons, Jesse, Rick, Mike and Joe. Louis had a heart of gold and was willing to help anyone at any time. He loved gardening, fixing up old cars. He was always joking around, had a kind and compassionate spirit. He resided in Grand Prairie, TX most of his life until he and his wife decided to retire and move to Whitney, TX.  Louis was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Felan Gonzales; parents, Guadalupe and Carmen Gonzales; son, Joe Gonzales; and grandson, Richard Gonzales. He is survived by his sons, Jesse, Rick and Mike Gonzales, his grandchildren, Jesse, Linda, Michael, Patricia, Alexandria, Ricky, Olivia and several great grandchildren.
