Marie Cardona

Cora EstradaMarie Felan Cardona, 89, of Meridian, was called home in the early morning hours of December 3, 2025.

Memorial services will take place at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian.

Marie was born in Adamsville, Texas, on October 13, 1936, to Estefana and Melquiades Felan. She married Johnny Cardona in 1954, and together they built a beautiful family of five children who would give them many grandchildren to cherish.

Marie spent most of her working life as a dedicated seamstress, but her most treasured role was that of mother and grandmother. Her legacy of love, strength, and quiet devotion will continue to live on through her family for generations to come.

Left to cherish her memory are:

• John Cardona and wife Janet of Meridian

• Allen Cardona and wife Kelly of Meridian

• Amy Bull and husband Scott of Meridian

• Countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren who adored her

• Amada Felan Estrada of Muscatine, Iowa

• Cora Estrada of Morgan

Also holding her memory close are her dear friends, James and Judy Gregory of Meridian.

Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Cardona; her parents, Melquiades and Estefana Felan; siblings Daniel Felan, Benny Felan, Francis Espinoza, Mickey Felan, Magarito Felan, Jesse Felan, Juanita Tarango and Leona Ramirez; and her children Buddy Cardona and Ayda Santillan.
