Marion Carter "Bud" Kimbell, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 25, 2025, in Clifton, Texas, just two days shy of his 92nd birthday. He was born on October 27, 1933, near Kopperl, Texas.

After graduating from Kopperl High School, Bud proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years. His military service shaped his character and instilled in him a profound sense of duty and respect for his country. Following his honorable discharge, he began a career in construction and manufacturing. However, it was in the Tire and Lube Department at the Walmart in Burleson that he truly found his passion. Here, he not only excelled in his work but also forged lasting friendships, making each day enjoyable for those around him.

Bud was known as a simple man, who found joy in life's small pleasures, particularly spending time with his family. His devotion to his loved ones was evident in every aspect of his life. He shared 64 wonderful years of marriage with his wife, Darnell Kimbell. He also leaves behind his kids, Kim and Randy Norton. Bud's legacy continues with his grandchildren, Rance, Randa, and Matt, who will carry forward the values he instilled in them.

Additionally, Bud is survived by his sister-in-law Pat Knowles, nephew Kirk Knowles and Pam, special nephew Leland Cheek and Dana, and the Brady family, who were considered a part of his extended family.

A graveside service will be held at Morgan Cemetery in Morgan, Texas, on October 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with all those who knew and loved Bud invited to pay their respects. He will be remembered fondly for his kind heart, dedication to family, and the joy he brought to the lives of all who had the privilege to know him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends as they celebrate his remarkable life.
