Mark Joseph Hudson, age 64, of Kopperl, passed away on Monday evening, Dec. 25, 2017, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, in the Kopperl First United Methodist Church with David Raybuck and Kent Berry officiating.
Mark was born May 21, 1953, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He graduated from Trinity High School in Euless, Texas. After high school Mark enlisted in the United States Army in 1971. He worked for Safeway Grocery for 10 years. After leaving Safeway he then began building industrial furniture. Mark worked at Steel Case for 17 years before the company decided to shut down in 2012. He married Janis Karen Sparkman on June 4, 2005, in Kopperl. During his free time he loved collecting guns, making ammunition, hunting, feeding his cats, and tinkering with his numerous guns. He will be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Karen, of Kopperl; parents, Ronald and Shirley of Lakeside Village; brother, James Hudson and wife, Amy, of Mansfield; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, James Hudson; and brother, David Hudson.
