Michael Dean Crawford age 53 of Meridian, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in Clifton, Texas.

Celebration of life will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 24, 2018 in the Wallace Cemetery in San Saba, Texas

Michael Dean Crawford was born on November 29, 1964 in Lampasas, Texas to Auydane (Dick) and Bonnie Woods Crawford. Michael and Loretta Crawford started their life together in November 1985. They were married on January 25, 1990 in San Saba, Texas. Michael was a hard working man who adored his family. He worked all of his life to provide for his family no matter how he felt. Michael loved his family, the outdoors, and riding his Harley. He was a man of many talents. Michael could do anything from repairing what needed to be repaired to making awesome homemade cakes and cinnamon rolls. He was a loving and caring man who would give his last dime to anyone who needed it. He was a man you could count on no matter what. Michael was the best son, brother, husband, father, and pawpaw you could have ever asked for. You rarely heard him talk about what needed to be done. He not only would say that actions speak louder than words, he lived his life as an example of that statement always doing what needed to be done. He was a man of few words, but when he spoke you listened. His wants and even needs were always second to the needs of those around him. He was truly the man that we all want our children to grow up to be. He was the rock of this family and will truly be missed.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Loretta Crawford of Meridian; sons, Roy Crawford and wife, Ashley, of Meridian, Steven Crawford and wife, Ashley Anderson of Odessa; daughters, Crystal Edmondson of Waco, Jackie White and husband, Adam, of Meridian; mother, Bonnie Crawford of Granite Shoals; siblings, Kathy Meador and husband, Leroy, of Brady, Tina Taylor and husband, Jim, of Kingsland, Terry Crawford and wife, Michelle, of Crosby, Alton Crawford and wife, Stacey, of Kingsland, Matthew Crawford and wife, Debra, of Clifton, Scotty Crawford and wife, Emily, of Brownwood; brothers-in-law, Bubba Kelley and wife, Charlotte, of Meridian, Jerry Kelley and wife, Kim, of San Saba; aunt, Juanita Regal of Lampasas; uncle, Truman Crawford of San Saba; 19 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his father, Auydane (Dick) Crawford; daughter, Tiffany Crawford; Brothers, Stephen and Timmy Crawford; grandparents, Hubert and Ola Crawford, and Mary Pierce.
