Ola Lunsford

Ola Mae Wolfe Lunsford, 73, of Morgan, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in a Clifton, Texas nursing home. A visitation was held on Saturday afternoon at Lawson Funeral Home, Meridian, Texas from 2:00 until 4:00 P. M.
Friends and family joined together to exchange stories and remembrances of Mrs.
Lunsford and her life.

Ola Mae Lunsford was born April 27, 1942 in Cary, Mississippi to Hazel Beatrice Wrenn Wolfe and Samuel D. Wolfe. She was raised in the family home with her brothers and sisters and shared adventures and made many memories with her family during her childhood and "growing up" years. On May 1, 1963 she married James Elmer Lunsford in Mt. Pleasant, Texas and together they raised their daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Lunsford had lived in Morgan, Texas for many years before Mr. Lunsford's death on June 22, 2013. Mrs. Lunsford was a homemaker who lovingly cared for her family and home. She loved flowers and in particular, roses, which were her favorite.

Mrs. Lunsford is survived by her children: Susan Lunsford Winn (Darrell) of Douglas, Wyoming, Sherry Lunsford (Donald) of Lakeside Village, and Shelly Lunsford (Billy) of Grandview; 8 Grandchildren and 1 Great-grandchild; sisters,
Ada Bell Sandage of Mississippi and Mary Lee Price, also of Mississippi; brothers, Jody Wolfe, Jerome Wolfe, and Richard Wolfe; sister-in-law, Judy Cook of Ponca City, Oklahoma; and a number of other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel D. and Hazel B. Wrenn Wolfe; her husband, James E. Lunsford, on June 22, 2013; and her siblings, Hazel Beatrice Wolfe (1936 - 1936), Samuel David Wolfe (1937 - 1937), Arthur Wayne Wolfe (1943 - 1999), Gerald Hubert Wolfe (1944 - 2009), and Toby Wolfe (1948 - 2007).
