Patricia Gonzales

Patricia Felan Gonzales, age 82, of Whitney, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at a Hillsboro nursing facility.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 23, 2015, at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel in Meridian with Father Isaac Orozco officiating. A visitation and rosary was from 5:00-7:00 P.M., Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Lawson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Meridian Cemetery in Meridian, Texas.

Pallbearers were Jesse Gonzales, Jr., Jesse Gonzales, III, Joe Gonzales, Richard Gonzales, Michael Gonzales, and Jack Felan.

Patricia Gonzales was born August 25, 1932 in Mart, Texas to M. C. Felan and Pauline Guerra Felan. She married Louis Gonzales on April 26, 1952 in Meridian. For many years the couple lived in Grand Prairie where they worked and raised their family. After retiring they moved back to the Bosque and Hill County areas. Mrs. Gonzales was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic church.

Mrs. Gonzales is survived by her husband: Louis Gonzales; sons: Louis Jesse and wife, Josie Gonzales, Guadalupe F. and wife, Dianna Gonzales, Joe and wife, Melinda Gonzales, Mike Gonzales; sister: Pauline Villarreal of McGregor; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
