Peggy King

Peggy Jean King age 88 of Hillsboro, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 in a Hillsboro nursing facility.

Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Spring Creek Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Hawkins officiating.

Peggy Jean Anderson was born on September 19, 1928 in the Spring Creek Community to Steve Herman and Ruth Cooper Anderson. She married John William King on September 22, 1946 in Fort Hood, Texas. To this marriage one daughter was born, Pamela Jane King. Peggy lived in the Temple area for most of her life before moving to the family farm at Spring Creek. Peggy was a homemaker for most of her life.

She is survived by several cousins, other relatives and friends.
