Regina Kay Hinds

Regina Kay Hinds age 63, of Whitney, passed away on April 30, 2024 at her residence in Whitney, Texas.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Monday, May 6, 2024 at the Morgan Cemetery in Morgan, Texas. Visitation will be held at Lawson Funeral Home from 11 A.M. until 1:30 P.M., Monday, May 6, 2024. 

Regina Kay Hinds was born on August 30, 1960 in Dallas, Texas to William Grover Rurak and Alicia Mae Sims. She was the most amazing, inspirational and strongest women that all of us had the privilege of being a part of her life. She was always willing to help anyone in need whether it be a home cooked meal to fill a belly or take care of someone who is unable to take care of themselves. We will always have her with us through pictures and most of all memories.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Clifton Ray Hinds, Sr.; brothers, Ronnie Rurak and Dennis Rurak; sister, Freda Cowen; daughters, Alicie Bowen, Marcia Bowen, Brandy Bowen, Tricia Pollard; sons, Clifton Ray Hinds, Jr., Brandon Hinds, Michael Hinds; 16 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; plus numerous other family members and friends.

She was carried home and was reunited with her grandparents; parents, William Grover Rurak and Alicie "Nanny" Mae Sims Rurak; brothers, Billy Jack Rurak, and Corbett William Rurak, Sr.
