Rhea Lee (Long) Walker

Rhea Lee Walker, age 80, of Kopperl, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, in a Temple care facility after an extended illness.

The family will host a celebration of her life from 1 to 3 P.M. on Sunday, June 24, 2018, in the Kopperl Volunteer Fire Department fellowship hall.

Rhea was born Sept. 21, 1937, in Ft. Worth, Texas.  She married James (Jim) Walker on November 28,1953 in Ft. Worth.  She and her husband had lived for several years in the Kopperl area.  She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Jim, of Kopperl; children, Deana Griffin and Donny Walker; sisters, Ruth Haley, Nancy Thomas and Marilyn Langford; brother, Buddy Long; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
