Robert Hamilton

Robert Alan Hamilton, 45, of Clifton, passed away into the arms of Jesus on Friday, August 12, 2016 in Waco, Texas, with his loving wife by his side.

Funeral services for Robert are scheduled for 2:00 P. M., Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel in Meridian, Texas. Interment will follow in the Clifton Memorial Cemetery, Clifton, Texas. A visitation will be held from 12:30 P. M until the service beginning at 2:00 P. M.

Mr. Hamilton was born March 20, 1971 in Fort Worth, Texas to Roxie (Shaw) Hamilton and Kenneth Hamilton. He was raised and attended schools in Fort Worth, and moved to the Lake Whitney area in 2000.

Robert was a certified Ford diesel mechanic, having worked at Cleburne Ford, Jeff England, and Main Street Elite.
He loved being outdoors and grew up hunting and fishing. He especially loved hunting and fishing with his Dad and Grandpa, and in recent years with his wife, Robin.

Robert is survived by his wife, Robin, of Clifton; his children, Sarah, Jordan, Isaac, and Abigail Ernstes; mother, Roxie Waters and husband, Jim; sister, Julie Roberson and husband, Cody; nieces, Ashley and Bailey Roberson; mother-in-law, Jean Chambers; brother-in-law, Tim Keough; several aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as other relatives and many friends.
