Samuel Fielder, Jr

Samuel L. Fielder, Jr., age 81 of Clifton, passed away at 9:10 A.M., Monday, July 3, 2017 at his residence in Clifton.

Memorial services were held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Steiner Baptist Church in Morgan with Pastor John Moore officiating.

Samuel Loyd Fielder, Jr. was born on July 20, 1935 in Lone Oak, Arkansas to Samuel Loyd, Sr. and Annie Lay Fredricks Fielder. He was a flooring installer for most of his working career. Samuel attended the Steiner Baptist Church in Morgan, Texas.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Mary Hammond Fielder of Clifton; brothers, Lonnie Fielder and wife, Marie, of Kennedale, Don Fielder and wife, Sandy, of Mabank; sisters, Mary Halter of Blue Ridge, Pattsie Clifton of Little Elm, Lucille Hearne and husband, Leon, of England, Arkansas; sons, Andy Fielder and wife, Christi, of Mesquite, Danny Fielder of Fort Worth; daughter, Julie Poe of Clifton; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel L. Fielder, Sr. and Annie Lay Fredricks.
