Sarah Hart

Sarah Imogene Hart, age 89, of Meridian, Texas and formerly of Springtown, Texas passed away at a Meridian nursing facility with family by her side on Saturday evening, February 13, 2016.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Lawson Funeral Home. Visitation wasfrom 5:00 until 7:00 P.M., Monday February 15, 2016 at the Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services were at 3:30 P.M., Tuesday February 16, 2016 at the Miles Cemetery in Miles, Texas near Ballinger, Texas.

Imogene was raised in Springtown, Texas. After high school, she moved to Fort Worth where she spent 34 years at Harris Methodist and Fort Worth Children's hospitals as a medical record clerk, ward clerk, and in central supply. She retired in 1991 where she resided in Weahterford, Texas until 2010. She lived in Meridian form 2010 to present.

She is survived by her sons: Lester Hart and wife, Sheila of Meridian, Noel Hart and wife, Gale of Granbury; 3 grandhchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters: Quinca Adams of Mansfield, Faye Speck of Springtown; brother: Clyde Reid Bradshaw of Springtown; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Mrs. Hart is preceded in death by her husband, Aaron B. "Jack" Hart, and a sister, Jo Record.
