Wenona Calahan

Wenona F. Calahan age 88 of Cranfills Gap, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at her residence.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Saint Olaf Rock Church with Pastor Ryan Pederson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Saint Olaf Lutheran Cemetery in Cranfills Gap.

Wenona F. Finstad was born on April 1, 1929 to Guy Alexander and Wilma Ida Anderson Finstad. She worked for many years as a secretary in the loan department of a bank. She was a member of the St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her sons, Mark Calahan and wife, Sabrina, of Crowley, Johnny Calahan of Cranfills Gap; grandchildren, Christi Calahan of Weatherford, Kevin Calahan of Conroe, Christopher Key of Grand Prairie and Christian Key of east Texas; great-grandchildren, Kaiden and Kylar Key of east Texas; siblings, Guy Wendell Finstad and wife, Geneva, of Cranfills Gap and Jo Ann Abel of Ft. Worth; nieces, Teresa Patterson of New Orleans, La. and Sherry Finstad of Amarillo; nephews, Barry, Gary and Terry Finstad, all of Cranfills Gap and Bobby Abel of Ft.Worth.
