Alice La Verne Grenier, 72, a cherished soul who brought laughter and joy to all who knew her, passed away on May 20th, 2023, in Glen Rose, Texas. Born on December 21, 1950, in Odessa, she graced the world with her vibrant presence and touched countless lives with her infectious spirit.

Alice's heart overflowed with love for her family, and nothing brought her greater happiness than being surrounded by their warmth. As a devoted wife, she celebrated 54 years of marriage with the love of her life, David Grenier. Together, they built a life filled with shared memories, laughter, and unwavering companionship.

Alice's adoration extended to her children, John David Grenier and wife Sherry, and Denise Grenier. She found immense pride and joy in watching them grow and flourish. Her four beloved grandchildren, Dalton and fiancée Brandi, Micaela and husband Caleb, Talon and wife Annie, and Kennedy, held a special place in her heart and brought her immeasurable happiness.

With a zest for life, Alice pursued her passions wholeheartedly. She found solace in the tranquility of fishing and the thrill of gambling and especially the joy of a good game of skip-Bo. Her animated nature, high spirits, and quick wit made her the life of every gathering. Alice had an extraordinary ability to bring laughter and happiness to those around her, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.

Recently, Alice's faith in the Lord was renewed, filling her with joy. Alice embraced her faith with an open heart and a willingness to celebrate the blessings bestowed upon her.

Alice was a proud matriarch who treasured her family heritage. She rejoiced in the company of her numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her presence could light up any room. Among her greatest joys in life were her six cherished brothers, including those she is survived by, Ben Horrell and wife Ginger and Terry Horrell. She held dear memories of her brothers who preceded her in death, Tom David Horrell and his wife Gloria, Don Horrell and his wife Betty, Harold Wilson, and John Horrell, Jr. and wife Gladys, as well as her parents, La Verne Seale and John Horrell.

As we bid farewell to Alice La Verne Grenier, we carry with us the laughter she brought, the love she shared, and the memories she created. May her vivacious spirit continue to inspire us all. While our hearts ache with her absence, we find solace in knowing that she has found eternal peace in the embrace of the Lord.

In our hearts, Alice's memory will forever shine bright, reminding us to cherish our loved ones and celebrate the vibrant essence of life.
