Alicia Ann (Reed) Sheffield

Alicia passed away peacefully in Clifton, Texas after a long battle with dementia.  Prior to moving to Meridian, Alicia worked  for Braniff International Airways as a Reservationist.

She is survived by two sons, Greg and Gary Maibauer, her long time Braniff friend of 61 years, Marilyn Bowling, her sister, Judy Conatser,  grandsons Bryce Maibauer, Ryan Maibauer and Ryan’s wife Courtney. She was great-grandmother to Farrah Maibauer, Jayla Maibauer, Jorja Maibauer , Jacob Maibauer, Reed Maibauer, and Owen Maibauer . Alicia is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and great-nephews.

A special thank you to Goodall-Witcher Nursing Facility for the excellent care given to Alicia during her illness.

A Memorial will be held at a later date at Highland Burial Park, Danville City, Virginia with interment alongside her beloved husband, Braniff Captain Tread Sheffield as per her wishes.

Arrangements were made by Lawson Funeral Home, Meridian, Texas 254-435-2792.
