Burial will be in the Meridian Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will take place on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Lawson Funeral Home, Meridian, Texas. Anna was born May 7, 1974 in San Antonio, Texas and adopted shortly after by Kenneth and Kathy Radde. She grew up with older brother Karl on the family ranch outside of Meridian, where Anna developed her great love for animals. Pet shows, 4-H crafts and cooking, showing sheep and Polled Hereford heifers at the Clifton Fair, FFA, and basketball filled her childhood and teen years with fun and challenges. She attended school both in Meridian and in Whitney and graduated from WHS in 1992. Anna attended church and youth group at First Methodist in Meridian. After attending MCC and working as a CNA for several years, Anna enrolled in nursing school and became an LVN. Her longest job position was at the Park Plaza Nursing Home in Whitney, where she brightened the day for many residents with her big smile and friendliness. She was passionate about her nursing career but took time for laughter and playfulness as well. Anna’s favorite and most recent nursing position was at the Hill County Jail Facility. Anna’s daughter, Christian also kept her busy as “Mom”, encouraging Christian with 4-H crafts, cooking, canning, as well as with sheep in the show ring. Anna was in the stands at all of Christian’s track meets, basketball games, and softball games, cheering her on. There were also many trips to Sea World, Galveston, Nascar races, and spook houses in the fall. Anna was a particularly proud mama when she saw Christian graduate from Tarleton last May. At Christmas time Anna helped on the family Christmas tree farm, baking her famous pumpkin and banana breads and cookies, arranging her many kinds of jelly on display shelves, and being main cashier in the gift shop. Anna lived at the tree farm as well with her special doggies, Glory, Freedom and Wolfie. Anna was loved by many, and she touched the lives of everyone who crossed her path. She will be laid to rest in the Meridian Cemetery near her infant daughter Katrina, Christian’s twin sister, who preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Christian and John Spradling of Meridian; brother, Karl Radde and wife, Melissa, of North Zulch; parents, Kenneth and Kathy Radde of Meridian; grandmother, Temple Shrala of San Antonio; half-sisters, Kendra and Kisha Henderson; loving friend, Jack Heilbrun of Temple; several aunts, one uncle; six nieces and great-nieces; one nephew and many cousins.
