Betty Elaine (Norton) McCormick

Betty Elaine McCormick age 73, of Lakeside Village passed away on May 13, 2021 in Clifton, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 17, 2021 at Lawson Funeral Home. Pastor Jim Houser will officiate. Burial will be in the Kopperl Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon until service time on Monday also at Lawson Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Ken McCormick, Dylan Bunch, Randy Norton, Roger Gardner, Larry Green, Billy Bankston.

Betty Elaine McCormick was born on May 21,1947 in Meridian,Texas to Martha and William Norton. She was raised and educated in Meridian, graduating in 1965. She married Jimmy McCormick on November 9, 1979 and remained with her family and friends in the community she loved. Betty spent 27 years working for Rangair in Cleburne. Upon retiring, she owned Lota Wata One Stop for 7 years. Her remaining time was filled with her many hobbies inspired by her love of the community, nature and all animals.

Betty was preceded in death by her mother Martha and father William. Those left to cherish her memories include her husband, Jimmy McCormick, brother, Larry Norton, son Chad, his wife, Terri, along with their children Ken and Candace with husband Dylan. She will also be dearly missed by numerous other relatives and beloved friends.
