Valley Mills, Texas

Grayson Lee Boggs age 6, of Valley Mills, passed away on June 16, 2023 in Temple, Texas after being in a tragic accident with his daddy, Matthew.

Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, June 24, 2023 at the Bosque County Cowboy Church in Meridian. Pawpaw Tater Paschal will officiate. Visitation will take place from 11 A.M. until service time at the church. He will be laid to rest by his daddy in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Grayson was born on April 18, 2017 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Matthew and Kayla Boggs. He moved to Texas before his second birthday and attended Valley Mills Elementary School and graduated kindergarten this year. He loved his school and especially his teachers. Grayson attended the Bosque County Cowboy Church and was a huge part of the church and loved his church family unconditionally. He would shake all the men's hands and hug the ladies before service. He loved his donuts and was the biggest helper if you happened to use a cane walking stick, walker or even a wheelchair, he was always there to help someone to their seat and then again to their vehicles after the church service was over. He was a happy carefree little boy. Grayson loved to play outside with his wagon and he loved to sing and just be outside running. He always had a smile on his face from the time he woke up to the time he went to bed. At night when you read him a story he always wanted to hear a story about God from his Bible. He loves saying his night time prayers and if you were ever in need of a prayer he would always remember and include you in his prayers. Often times Grayson's prayers were lengthy due to having to include everyone he remembered needed prayers.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Kayla Boggs; sister, Nevaeh Smith; brother, Elijah Boggs; grandparents, Angela Boggs, B.J. McClellen, Tim and Tonya Bowen, Sherry Collis, Chris and Danielle Windle, Roselynn Bentley, Helen Boggs, Robert Dalton, Jr., John and Carmen Bowen, Darlene Brunner, Anthony Reiser, and Harold Windle; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and very close friends.

Preceded in death by his father, Matthew Ray Boggs; and grandfather's Billy Boggs and Junior Bentley.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lawson Funeral Home, Meridian, Texas 254-435-2792 .
