Jerry Lester Craig

Jerry Lester Craig age 78, of Lewisville, Texas and formerly of Iredell, Texas passed away on November 7, 2021 in Iredell, Texas.

Graveside memorial services will be held on December 10, 2021 at 10:30 A.M., at the DFW National Cemetery.

His journey began in Iredell, Texas born to J.D. and Virginia Craig. After his enlistment in the U.S. Army, Jerry began his career with the Dallas Police Department on May 6, 1965. He remained an officer in Dallas until his retirement on May 4, 1994. He married the love of his life, Marian Sue Turner on May 16, 1966. The couple moved to Lewisville, Texas in 1968 where they raised their sons, Dennis and Dale. Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting, cracking jokes and playing with his great-granddaughter, Avery. He also loved his cat Bandit. He was loved and cared for by his son Dennis and daughter-in-law Ginger; and grandson, Chad and wife, Carole.

There will be a procession leaving from Dennis and Ginger Craig's house at 9:15 A.M., December 10, 2021

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials in Jerry's name be made to:

The Heart Association, The Liver Association or a charity of your choice
