Milton Williams born May 4,1943 in Meridian, Texas, died July 24, 2021, he grew up and raised a family in Morgan, Texas. Married Betty Ann Speer July 2, 1962, married for 49 years. Worked for Foundries as a plant manager in Holtham City and then was a Transmission builder for the family businesses until retiring in 2017. He married Vera Rose Hammond on September 14, 2013, in Meridian, Texas. He loved coaching his children, grandchildren baseball, soccer and basketball. Enjoyed spending time with family, fishing and watching old westerns. Milton’s smile and witty personality will be missed by all.

Preceded in death by: Parents Charlie Williams and Mary Lee Allen, wife Betty Williams, son Steven Williams, sister Nadine White and brother Bobby Williams

Survived By: his wife Vera Rose Williams of Clifton, daughter Terry Brooks and husband David of Clifton, son Charlie Williams and wife Mary Jo of McGregor

Stepdaughters: Lucy Nelson and husband Brad of Crawford, Barbara Blake and husband Mike of Whitney, Lisa Mitchell and husband Steve of Waco

Sisters: Gwindle Chasteen and Wanda Allen

Grandchildren: Kyle Williams and wife Cassie, Kevin Williams, Ashley Williams, Chris Brooks and wife Ashley of Valley Mills, Charlie Brooks and wife Natalie, Sara Shipman and husband Sean, Lauren Allison and husband Travis, Kevin Williams, Adrianna Worthington and husband Colton, Zachary Williams and numerous step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M., Friday, July 30, 2021 at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian. Bro. R.C. Kelly will officiate. Burial will be in the Clifton Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M., Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Lawson Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Kyle Williams, Charlie Brooks, Zachary Williams, Mason Williams, John Lambert and Sean Shipman.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lawson Funeral Home, Meridian, Texas 254-435-2792 .
