Ronald Wesley Ogle was born June 10, 1947 in Ralls, Texas to Alvin Franklin Ogle and Ethel Evelyn Shores Ogle.  He grew up and attended schools in Crosbyton, Texas.  On June 10, 1965 he married Shirley Gail Wallace in Crosbyton.  In May of 1966, Ronnie joined the United States Army and served in Vietnam as a paratrooper, along with many other different duties.  During this time he earned two Bronze Stars, two Purple Hearts, and several other Medals of Honor and Service.  Ronnie was honorably discharge from the Army in May, 1969.

Ronnie worked very hard to take care of his family.  He was employed by Erath County Electric (now United Cooperative Services) for several years before going to work for Purcell Construction Company.  Later, Ronnie went to work for Wallace Electric and retired in 2000.

After Ronnie's retirement and as his health declined, he never lost his sense of humor, or his love of God.  He was always thankful for everything he had and what the Lord had blessed him with.  Ronnie will surely be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ogle of Meridian; children, Jeff Ogle and wife, Linda, Cody Ogle and wife, Amanda, and Tammy Whitlow; 5 Grandchildren; 4 Great-grandchildren; sisters, Dolores Mullins and husband, H. W., Rhena Smith and husband, Stacey; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Ethel Ogle; brothers, Harold Ogle, Larry Ogle, and Paul Ogle.
