Sandra Mantooth

Sandra Mantooth age 73, of Glen Rose, passed away on September 11, 2021 in Glen Rose, Texas.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M., Monday, September 13, 2021 at the Brazos Point Cemetery. Bro. Rocky Hassell, Bro. Theo Heartsill and Bro. Michael Adams will officiate.

Sandra Joyce Barnes was born on December 18, 1947 in Glen Rose to A.J. and Fairy Mae Jackson Barnes. She married Harvey Mantooth on March 8, 1968 in Glen Rose, Texas. She was a housewife for most of her life besides the last 14 years when she took on the role of homeschooling her grandchildren. She was fortunate enough to get all but the last 2 through school. Sandra was a faithful member of the Vinelife Pentecostal Church in Glen Rose.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Harvey Mantooth; daughters, Shelia Doss and husband, David, of Glen Rose, Trudy Heartsill and husband, Theo, of Walnut Springs; granddaughters, Lindsey Sutton, Kamie Adams, Emilee Adams, Allie Adams, Lauren Heartsill; son-in-law, Michael Adams; sister, Judy Sheppard; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, A.J. and Fairy Mae Barnes; infant daughter; daughter, Deanna Adams; and sister, Janice Jameson.
